Trilogy Physical Therapy is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant who enjoys outpatient care and wants to continue developing professionally within a collaborative team.

This position provides the opportunity to strengthen your orthopedic rehabilitation skills while gaining exposure to specialized services, including oncology rehabilitation.

You will work closely with Physical Therapists and other team members to deliver meaningful patient care, support patient progress, and contribute to an environment where people share ideas and grow together.

If you are enthusiastic, dependable, and interested in building a long-term career—not simply finding another job—we would like to meet you.

What you will find at Trilogy

  • Collaboration with experienced Physical Therapists
  • Opportunities to strengthen outpatient orthopedic skills
  • Exposure to oncology rehabilitation
  • Continuing education and professional-development support
  • Opportunities for expanded responsibility and career growth
  • A team that values your ideas and contribution
  • A culture built on belonging, trust, and open communication

Your original PTA concept already highlights mentorship, advancement, clinical growth, oncology education, and an organization investing in innovation and development.

Responsibilities

  • Provide skilled physical therapy interventions under the direction and plan of care established by a Physical Therapist
  • Carry out therapeutic exercise, functional training, manual interventions, and patient education as appropriate
  • Monitor patient response and communicate meaningful changes to the supervising Physical Therapist
  • Help patients understand and participate in their rehabilitation program
  • Document treatment accurately and within expected timeframes
  • Support continuity of care and plan-of-care completion
  • Collaborate with clinicians and administrative team members
  • Participate in team meetings, training, and professional-development opportunities
  • Contribute to a safe, respectful, and encouraging clinical environment
  • Develop skills in specialty areas based on interest, opportunity, and organizational needs

What we are looking for

  • Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
  • Current or eligible New York State Physical Therapist Assistant license
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Passion for helping patients achieve meaningful goals
  • Ability to work collaboratively with supervising Physical Therapists and other team members
  • Dependability, organization, and professional integrity
  • Interest in ongoing clinical and professional development
  • Outpatient experience preferred, but motivated new graduates are encouraged to apply
  • Interest in oncology rehabilitation is a plus
